If you use the online booking system, we collect information such as the names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses. We also collect details of the vehicles, such as car registration.

What organisations are collecting the information?

In addition to our direct collection of information, our third party service vendors (Tech Man) collects this information from our customers that use the online booking system. Tech man temporarily stores your personal details on our behalf until the appointment has passed, after which, they are automatically deleted from their server. As part of the service, a booking confirmation email (maximum of two emails) will be sent from their automated system as part of the service. They do not view, use or process this data for any purpose other than providing the intended service. 

With whom may the information be shared?

Personally Identifiable Information about customers will not be shared with any other third parties other than the one mentioned above.

How is Personally Identifiable Information stored?

Personally Identifiable Information collected by Shaun Spooner Autos Ltd is securely stored and is not accessible to third parties or employees of Shaun Spooner Autos Ltd except for use as indicated above.

However, because of backups and records of deletions, it may be impossible to delete a Visitor’s entry without retaining some residual information. An individual who requests to have Personally Identifiable Information deactivated will have this information functionally deleted, and we will not sell, transfer, or use Personally Identifiable Information relating to that individual in any way moving forward.

What happens if the Privacy Policy Changes?

We will let our Visitors and Customers know about changes to our privacy policy by posting such changes on the Site. However, if we are changing our privacy policy in a manner that might cause disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information that a Visitor or Customer has previously requested not be disclosed, we will contact such Visitor or Customer to prevent such disclosure.
